How To Rest Sydney NSW

Ah, we all remember back in those teenage days when we stayed up all night. We tried to keep awake for as long as we can. Then we tried the "I'll just set my alarm for 30 minutes, I just need some rest" technique. However we always slept through the alarm. There are ways to rest without sleeping.

How To Rest

Steps

  1. Get a good alarm clock or cellphone with an alarm. Set the alarm for one minute from the current time, and set the snooze to 1 minute. This way the phone goes off every minute until you turn it off. Set the alarm to high volume. You can also use a Nintendo DS, and use no snooze, just continually have it on.
  2. Put the alarm under your pillow.
  3. Put on your blindfold, and act as if you are going to sleep.
    • Once the alarm goes off, the body usually tends to turn off the noise such as an alarm clock. But this noise is faint, because it's under your pillow, and the body will not react, and continue in its rest-mode.
    • Because this noise is continual, the body will not go to sleep, and will remain awake, but also be able to gain energy because it is a deep rest mode.

Tips

  • If you have a cellphone, also put the vibrator on to vibrate the pillow. This keeps you awake.

Warnings

  • You may fall asleep if the phone isn't loud enough.

Things You'll Need

  • A cellphone with an alarm on it.
  • A pillow.
  • Blindfold
